Miranda Creative was honored to earn 11 awards at the 2025 Connecticut Ad Club Awards Show — including the evening’s top honor, Best in Show for our work supporting Lyman Allyn Park — an expansion of the iconic Lyman Allyn Museum of New London into a community hub. The October 15th event was the 70th awards show for the Ad Club and held at Hartford’s Bushnell Performing Arts Center.


This achievement reflects our team’s commitment to creative excellence, strategic thinking, and the successful partnerships we maintain with the clients and communities we serve.

Best in Show: Lyman Allyn Museum

The ultimate honor of the evening, Best in Show, was awarded for our comprehensive work supporting the Lyman Allyn Art Museum. This project was about much more than just a fresh coat of paint; we partnered with the museum to solidify its role as a dynamic community hub—expanding its identity to embrace arts, culture, ecology, and recreation. This top prize acknowledges the entire integrated strategy, execution, and impact of the museum’s transformation, which we couldn’t be prouder to have led.

Gold: Brand Identity (Lyman Allyn)

As a key component of the Lyman Allyn project, we received a Gold award for Brand Identity. This award recognizes the creation of a sophisticated and adaptable visual system—the logos, color palette, and foundational elements—that modernized the museum’s look while honoring its storied history. The new identity is designed to be flexible, allowing the museum to connect with diverse audiences and seamlessly communicate its broad range of programs, from traditional art exhibits to outdoor ecological events.

Gold: Original Animation (Lyman Allyn)

Our digital storytelling efforts were recognized with a Gold award for Original Animation for the Lyman Allyn rebrand. This animated piece brought the new brand to life, using movement and sound to capture the energy and excitement of the museum’s new chapter. The animation serves as an engaging tool to quickly communicate the museum’s vibrant, expanded mission across various digital platforms, capturing attention and inviting new visitors.

Gold Brush Award: Art Direction (Lyman Allyn)

Rounding out the Lyman Allyn wins was the prestigious Gold Brush Award for Art Direction. This honor celebrates the high-level craft and creative execution of the entire visual package, from selecting the perfect typography and color combinations to guiding the aesthetic feel of all photography and design elements. It highlights the passion our team brings to making every visual detail count, ensuring the final output was not just effective, but truly beautiful.

Bronze: Media Ad Series (Old Lyme Country Club)

We took home a second Bronze for a Media Ad Series, this time for the beautiful Old Lyme Country Club. Our campaign focused on capturing the club’s rich heritage while highlighting its modern amenities and inviting community spirit. The ad series successfully showcased the unique blend of tradition and contemporary leisure that makes the club a treasured spot on the Connecticut shoreline.

Bronze: Logo Design (Colchester Youth Services)

Community is absolutely at the heart of what we do, which is why we’re especially proud of the Bronze win for Logo Design for Colchester Youth Services. The challenge here was to create a modern, inclusive, and energetic emblem that truly represents the young people and the invaluable support this service provides. The resulting logo is a simple, powerful mark that speaks directly to growth, connection, and opportunity.

Bronze: Media Ad Series (Zotz Fizz Power Candy)

Getting to play with a classic candy brand is always a treat! We earned a Bronze for our Media Ad Series for Zotz Fizz Power Candy. This campaign was designed to reintroduce the iconic ‘fizz power’ to a new generation. We created fun, attention-grabbing candy characters to place in our strategic ads that tapped into nostalgia while capturing the unique, zesty experience of the candy for a contemporary audience.

Bronze: Organic Social Media Branding (We Are CT)

It’s always a pleasure to celebrate our home state! We earned a Bronze for Organic Social Media Branding for the ‘We Are CT’ initiative. This project was all about creating an authentic, engaging social media voice and visual identity that encouraged connection and truly reflected the diverse, vibrant spirit of Connecticut residents. It was a meaningful exercise in strategic storytelling and authentic community-building.

Merit Recognitions
